Extended Hours

We are open for routine appointments only on Tuesday evenings 18:30 - 20:30 and Tuesday mornings 06.30 - 08.00. These booked appointments are for patients who have difficulty attending during normal surgery hours, for example, due to work or caring commitments.

Closures

Both surgeries are closed on all public holidays.

When We Are Closed

When the surgery closes at 6.30pm and on public bank holidays there is always a doctor on call for urgent medical advice or consultation. For urgent medical attention when the surgery is closed please dial 0161 763 8940. The Out of Hours GPs are based at Waters Meeting Health Centre.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In the event of and accident or genuine emergency you should call 999 or visit your local A&E.

NHS 111

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

  • Treat yourself at home
  • Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
